I created two polls (sorry that they are so wordy). Let's see what everyone wants to do. The nice thing about this is that we can always change the organization again in a few months if we don't like how it's going. I think it will take a few exchanges to work out all the kinks. After we decide the size of group we want then we can decide how often we want to meet. We can meet every month, 6 weeks or even ever other month. The polls will close in one week so we can start planning for our next exchange.

I feel bad that this is turning into quite the debate. I hope we can get this resolved.
I for one voted on the one large group capped off at 20 members. I think we could meet every 2 months with that many people. However, I understand if that means people are worried about freezer space.
Here's my only concern with splitting into two groups...how do you do it? After looking at the groups it will be hard to match up ten families of the same size. Also I for one don't want to be in charge of shuffling the groups every few months. That is way to complicated for a group that is based on making life simplier.
Here's my suggestion...I think we find out how many people are in for October, that means people who have signed up on the blog and are actively participating by adding food allergies and dislikes. This doesn't mean people who have said they want to participate but haven't done anything about it. Then that is it. No more add ons. People who want to participate after that can either be a substitute for someone else or they can share meals with someone like Tawni and her sister are doing. But that is it. No more adding people. It just gets way to complicated.
As for the recipe site...I think we should come to a concensus on just ONE site, that will make it less complicated. I agree with Brooke Skinner that if everyone would just list where they put their information that this whole problem could be solved very easily. However, that hasn't been happening. So to make things less complicated, I think one site is sufficient.
Alright...enough ranting. Those are my ideas but this isn't a monarchy. So let's put it to a vote. Please vote before the week is up so that we can get this resolved. Ground beef was on sale last week for $1.78lb at Macey's but I couldn't get it because I didn't know who much I would need. So vote, let's here your opinions and let the majority rule!
